Love is in the Air--Get Out the Gas Mask!

Today is Valentine's Day!  A day that is celebrated by millions of people whether it be sweethearts or friends.  Let's see what this "Day of Love" looks like in the kitty world.

Love can be shown by mama comforting her little one or vice versa.

Love can be shown by sharing.

Love can be shown by just being together or doing something fun you all enjoy.

Love can even mean being stupid together!

Love can be felt whether you're awake or asleep.

Love can happen during the day or night.

Of course, as in any group, there's always the one who doesn't share your opinion about this day.

Some even become extreme about it!

So, dear readers, on this wonderful day, just ignore old Grumpy Cat.  May you have the best Valentine's ever full of love, enjoyment, and peace.

The Real Reason Cats and Dogs Don't Get Along

As I've mentioned before, cats sleep on an average of 18 hours a day.  This being said, it can take place in a variety of places and positions, such as the following.  (Don't worry, I will get to the dogs.)

Dogs and cats may even sleep together.

Days of the Week

Thought it would be fun if I could match up some pictures with days of the week.  Let me know how you like it.

On Monday, I want to drink My Milk and find a Mouse for my human!

On Tuesday, I want to Talk like a cow and get Tickled!

On Wednesday, I want to be Worshiped and Winked at!

On Thursday, I want to play with Toilet paper and have my Toenails manicured!

On Friday, I want to Fall asleep in the sun and make Funny Faces!

On Saturday, I will rise, but not Shine, because I don't want to be Stressed out!

On Sunday, I'm going to Smell the flowers and stay in the Sack for a while!

Now, of course, if I can't do these things, I'll just have to find some different things to do, won't I?

 And if you don't like the things I decide to do if I can't have my way, then this is what I have to say.

Get Adopted, They Said

This is a subject that I am very serious about even though this blog will be more humorous than serious.  I am an animal lover, regardless of the animal, and I don't have any patience with people who can't be responsible pet owners.  Neuter or spay your animals; take proper care of them; and be responsible.  Yes, they are work.  Yes, they might be expensive to care for, such as horses.  But, if you can't do the proper job, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO HAVE A PET!  Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now.

Before you pay the adoption fee, there might be a contract that you have to sign.

However, it is worth it for both human and cat.

 Now, there may be some things you have to keep in mind when you adopt.

But, that's okay.  Make yourself and a cat happy today and do a good deed.

And remember what I said in the beginning.

Remember your promise and look forward to an unconditional love that is amazing!

New Year's Resolutions

Yes, it's that time again when we all dutifully set out to do the things we know we should do to get ourselves into better shape physically, mentally, and emotionally.  By next month, not so much!  Well, did you know that cats make resolutions too?

Sometimes the resolutions stay the same from year to year because there's no need to change them.

 Cats like to get themselves into shape physically too.  Perhaps their expectations are not exactly like ours.

As well as getting in shape, it's very important to get enough sleep.  This is something cats usually don't have a problem with, but they want to make sure that the routine is not disturbed.

Now, of course, they will help you with your resolutions!
