Last week was Valentine's Day, so we talked about love from your kitty cat. Came across some videos on the Internet that display this so well!! It's just natural for us to want to show our cats love by hugging and kissing them. Some cats just hate this. Why? They hate being confined. Being petted is nice, but being hugged is not. Even though you're not trying to hurt the cat, it triggers a deep-rooted fear of being grabbed by predators that makes the cat nervous and uncomfortable. As for kissing, when cats lick each others' faces, they move slowly and are fully relaxed. Humans tend to move more quickly. Again, there's the closeness issue.
Enjoy this video on You Tube showing exactly this behavior: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPnKG6f44fk
Also mentioned last week was grooming. If your cat chooses to groom another cat, or you, that is considered to be an act of love.

Doesn't really matter the size of the cat as far as showing affection. Big cats are no different. Take a look!

Since this blog is long on videos, it's going to short on words. So long till next time. Hope you enjoyed the show! Let us know what you thought.
